Sasami and Tsunami
The Masakis and company return to their favorite vacation spot for the Festival of Cherry Blossoms. The owner of the inn, however, has an alterior motive. She quickly dumps a metric crapload of work on them for destroying her inn last time. During the work, each person sees a ghostly figure around the inn. That night, Yosho tells them about "The White Ghost" and scares them half to death. He made up the story, though, and the innkeeper tells them so.
Tenchi is still scared since the lights aren't working. As he goes to fix them, he feels a hand on his shoulder. He runs out of the inn and falls in the women's spa. They see that the person was just Sasami, but they also see her reflection in the water. It's Tsunami. Samsami runs to be lost in the forest.
Ayeka is the first to find her, but Tenchi and Washu aren't far behind. They hide as Sasami tells Ayeka that, when she was a child, she was running around the nursery where all the Juraian trees are kept when Ryoko attacked. She fell to the bottom where Tsunami was kept. the tree took pity on the dying girl and attached with her. Ayeka, upon hearing this, tells Sasami that she does not care. Washu pushes Tenchi out of the bushes and he tells her the same. Sasami runs to give him a hug, passing right by Ayeka.
The festival starts as sake is passed around (the old men enjoy the company of beautiful women happily). Ayeka sits by herself, and Ryoko goes to see why. Tsunami appears to tell them not to worry about Sasami, she'll be fine. They tell her that they're not worried about Sasami, they're worried about Tsunami's beauty and ask if Sasami will be as beautiful as her. Tsunami replies in the affirmative. Now Ryoko and Ayeka are worried that Tenchi will like Sasami.
