"Normal" life is shown in this OAV as Tenchi awakes to Ryoko watching over him. He tells her to go away as he goes to the bathroom. He sees the ring that Tsunami gave him and accidentally activates his battle suit. Out drops a Juraian seed which he remembers to give to Ayeka. It is a seed to resurrect Ryouuh. Ayeka runs to plant it.
Ryoko watches as Sasami and Mihoshi read girl manga. Ayeka also gets into the books that Tenchi's father Nuboyuki seems to have an endless supply of. They each have a series of ideas, each sillier than the last, to win Tenchi's affections. To be short, none of them work.
Instead, they each plan to get rid of the other women. They send Mihoshi to the GP HQ to make her report and Ryoko double crosses Ayeka to get to Tenchi first. Ryoko runs into Ayeka's trap portal on Tenchi's door and is transported to the lake. She tries again, but Ayeka stops her and they fight over who gets Tenchi first.
Sasami has another prophetic nightmare, this one about Tokimi. She awakes and goes past the fighting women and into Tenchi's room. Laughter abounds as we hear that Washu is already sleeping with him. The two women rush to see, but hit the portal again and end up out in the lake. They climb out then look up at a bright flash. Mihoshi has returned and crashes her ship. Again.

If this is supposed to be a good day in the house of Masaki, I don't want to see a bad day. This is pretty funny, but it really doesn't follow any plotline. I liked it, though.
