Here Comes Jurai
Here Comes Jurai
Galaxy Police HQ having recieved Mihoshi's report months ago, finally finishes summarizing it. The wealth of info in the book-like report contains top secret information on jurai's deepest secrets. The scandal forces the commander's assistant to drop off the face of the dimension and Jurai to take notice
A beautiful woman comes to visit Yosho in his shrine. It's his mother. She and Jurai's (the emperor, not the planet) other wife, Masaki (the woman, not the family), have come before Emperor Jurai to cushion the blow. Funaho, his mother, tells him that she knows everything now including the power of Washu's gems. She's there to bring Washu back to Jurai to hide the fact. Masaki, however, is there to hug everybody and generally be a flake.
On the way to the house, Funaho meets up with Washu who won't go with her, but won't give away the secret or replicate Ryoko. Funaho is relieved. Jurai shows up at the Masaki residence, but is surprised that niether of his daughters will come with him. He tells Tenchi that they can stay if he beats Ayeka's new suitor.
Enemies are supposed to be large and imposing. This one is neither. From his fruity, pink hair to his name, Sario, this guy shouldn't want to marry Ayeka (if you know what I mean). The duel starts just as Mihoshi crash lands her ship in the lake again. Tenchi is unfazed, but Sario promptly drowns.
The Juraian emissaries leave as Jurai promises Tenchi that he's not done with him yet. Masaki and Funaho agree that, next time, they'll stay a couple days.
Jag T. Webmonkey beats his head against the wall:
Why, oh why did they not finish this? I have heard rumors that a third set of OAV's was on they're way, but the TV spinoffs got in the way. They need to finish the story. If not for my sake, then for my sake.
