| In the Tamer series, Ryo is a 14 year old who is obsessed with the Digimon card game. I still dont know if he lives in Tokyo, but he won many of the D-1 Digimon card game competitions that gave him the title 'Digimon king." One day, his D-Power appeared and he was granted the Digimon CyberDramon to Tame. Ryo found that trying to tame CyberDramon in the real world was too dangerous, since CyberDramon wasnt fully tamed. Because of this, Ryo and Cyberdramon travled to the Digital world (we dont know how) and lived there for about a year, (10 months) taming CyberDramon. |
| Ryo first meets the Digimon Tamers in ep. 28 when Ruki accidentally lets Megadramon free, and attacks Kyubimon. CyberDramon appears and defeats Megadramon. Ryo appears before the tamers, and they look at him in awe. They all knew who he was, having experienced the Digimon card game, Ruki herself was the one who took Ryo's place as D-1 card champion. |
| Ryo tells Hirokazu, Kenta and Ruki about what he was doing in the Digital world for a year. Hirokazu took this oportunity to critizise Ruki about finally meeting someone who was better that her in Digimon Taming. Ruki talks back, getting into an argument. Finally Ruki decides to leave. Ryo try's to persuade her to stay, but she ignors him and goes on her way. |
| In the next episode, 29, Hirokazu, kenta and Ryo find Takato, Jenrya and Juri . Takato was exited to meet Ryo. Ryo then shown them Cyberdramon, who frightened them at first, but they calmed down after Ryo showed them he was safe. By now, Ryo knew the digital world very well, and showed the tamers to an abandoned mansion to rest for the night. The next day however, they run into Makuramon and Majiramon. The other tamers try and battle, but majiramon was too strong. Ryo had no choice but to let Cyberdramon fight. He swiped a Device card that makes Cyberdramon grow. He twists Majiramon , deleting him. Ryo then relises that cyberdramon needs to be tamed some more, and that staying with the other tamers would be risky with cyberdramon. He makes his decision and leaves them. |
| Its After that point, I pretty much loose track of Ryo. I know he comes back in Episode 38 or 39 , but have nothing of him in that episode. I come accross him finally in episode 41. During that time, he had lost his metal thingy on his arm and Cyberdramon had De-Digivolved into a mischevious little digimon Monodramon. He seems to be in a chamber with the other tamers, waiting for the gate to the real world to open or something. I'll need to look into that episode in Detail. |
| The gate eventually opened and the tamers emerged in a place full of trees and construction workers, possibly back in Shinjuku park. The tamers have returned to the real world and are being sent back home. I dont actually know what happens to Ryo after that point. He was probably sent home or something. I need to check with some people on what happened in that episode and what happenes to Ryo. |
