Scn. 1 EXT: The Teacher parking lot entranceway stairs - NOONTIME
We have random shots of an empty Moanalua High School Campus in broad daylight. Close ups of the rooms, birds & flowers. Pan to a shot of the school parking lot to find a LONE FIGURE walking towards the school. This is WILLIAM SPEARS, the main character of the story.
We follow him up the stairs as he finds himself in MENE SQUARE. BIRDS EYE VIEW of him on the M from the third floor.
SPEARS:
Tut, here stand I in such utter desertion
Dissimilar not to my own departure
From my homeland 'cross the great moat.
Where stand the guards? The nobles?
The fair of this land as can be sighted?
Have I come hither to a siesta time?
A janitor speeds past in his golf-cart. WILLIAM calls out to him
SPEARS:
Ho there fellow!
I do beg of thee to lend
An ear, or both if you may spare
To a lowly FOB
JANITOR:
Ho! Many Many come hither
When the ships of war do dock
Upon the ancient Harbor of Pearls
Yet assumptions do bring death.
Is thee truly a blue man's lad?
For thine accent takes the
Across two great moats.
SPEARS:
Indeed, good fellow.
I come from twice the normal distance
For one so fair as I.
Yet we are not dissimilar
For my country's pride
Flies still with thy own
Despite having paid homage
To white stars above red valor.
Tell me, good sir, are you a guard?
JANITOR:
Nay, but a grounds-man!
SPEARS:
Still, no dishonor. Please do speak
If thee knows the way
To room T3?
JANITOR:
Of what block does thee speak?
SPEARS:
Block A
JANITOR:
Nay! No block I shall lead you to at this hour.
For already one has been stacked.
Thee must go home.
For block stacking commences
The next hour.
Where is thy Home?
SPEARS
If it may be home, it is room M302.
JANITOR:
Whether to count you among the fortunate
Or the un, I know not.
There be your Home
Upon the highest bastion.
The Janitor points above Will's head, towards the highest room in M-building. William follows his hand, & gulps when he sees how high he has to go.
SPEARS:
I thank thee.
JANITOR:
Good luck to you
English Lad.
The Janitor drives off, leaving William to crane his neck at his new homeroom class.
SCN 2. THE OUTER DOOR
Camera follows Othella
She falls flat on her face
Camera pans above as she gets up
Camera follows her face. She looks up & fear appears on her face.
Cut to Iaga
OTHELLA:
Who are you?
IAGA:
You were looking for me weren’t you?
OTHELLA:
You’re the monster? But its supposed to be ugly!
IAGA:
*Irked* WHAT? Where do you get your info? Geeze! And I’m supposed to be helping you!
OTHELLA:
What?!
IAGA:
I know you like Dez & all. It’s a shame, he’s with Cassy
OTHELLA:
WHAT?!
IAGA:
I’ll show you
Iaga helps Othella up
SCN 3: EXT. THE FIELD – NIGHT
CUT to Dez & Cassy, they are walking together looking for Othella, but from afar, it looks like they are talking sweet.
Othella and Iaga watch from behind a tree. Othella gets visibly angry.
IAGA
(Whispers) I told you they were together
She holds up her sword. Othella takes the sword & nods
SCN 4. EXT. THE PLAYGROUND - NIGHT
Camera CUTS to the Pair. Dez is really distraught
DEZ:
I hope Othella is OK. I’m really worried about her
CASSY:
Don’t worry, we’ll find her. Lets split up.
DEZ:
But you’ll get lost too
CASSY:
Don’t be such a baby. We’ll find her
She leaves Dez, who freaks out since he is alone. Cassy walks into the dark, suddenly she sees green eyeballs in the trees & freaks. She runs away as Iaga appears.
IAGA:
Heh, I said I’d help.
Cassy runs, then bumps into Othella
CASSY:
Othella! Oh my gosh! Are you OK?
WE’ve been looking for you.
Othella just stares back at her
CASSY:
Othella, what is your problem
(Waves her hand in front of her face.
OTHELLA:
I’m fine, but I’m about to get rid of my problem.
Othella takes up the sword & begins to stab Cassy as she screams.
Cassy falls to the ground. Othella thinks she’s finished & starts to walk away. Cassy starts to breath again.
CASSY:
AH! I’m not dead!
OTHELLA:
I can fix that!
She returns & Continues to stab Cassy to death.
SCN 5. EXT. THE DITCH - NIGHT
DEZ, who’s so afraid, he hides in a ditch, terrified.
DEZ:
Those freaking floating eyeballs! I think I’m allergic to this grass (scratches)
A hand touches his shoulder, and he jumps
OTHELLA
I’ve heard about turning in your grave, but that’s just sad.
DEZ:
(Calming down) Othella! Don’t be funny! OK, we have to find Cassy now!
He grabs her by the hand and they take off. Suddenly he sees something in the trees. The pair goes over to look.
DEZ:
OH MY GOD! CASSY!
He goes to her, bends down & screams
DEZ:
SHE’S DEAD! OH MY GOSH! CASSY!
HE begins to cry. Othella sees him crying over Cassy & she suddenly gets angry.
OTHELLA:
Even now you still care about her?! What about me!
Othella runs him through, & he lands next to Cassy.
Othella sees them, then realizes what she did. She drops the sword & begins to cry.
The sword vanishes.
SCN 6. EXT. THE DARK TREES- NIGHT
Cut to a shot of Iaga, the sword appears in her hands & she snickers.
IAGA:
Hmm, FUN.
FADE TO BLACK.
