Armed with the flame of his love, Colwyn lashes out at the Beast, it is the final confrontation.
Unable to counter this new power, the Beast falls in defeat, burning in the power of Lyssa and Colwyn's love.
Still alive and lost in the tunnels of the Fortress as it falls apart around them, Titch tries to attract the attention of the others using the bells of his staff so that they can save him and a wounded Ergo.
The Eye of the Fortress explodes as the power of the Beast is gone.
Without the Beast to hold it together, the Black Fortress crumbles and the shards are pulled back to the blackness of space, Krull is free once more.
Colwyn watches on as the Black Fortress fades away.
Finally a moment to reflect as the Black Fortress crumbles before their eyes, Colwyn, Lyssa, Ergo, Titch, Torquil and Menno rest after their arduous journey.
"The key is yours..." "Only the king and his lord marshall have that key..." "That's right..." Torquil laughs as the heroes make their way home to their new life together. THE END.
