The Cyclops has been following our heroes for a while now. Colwyn asks him to join them and Rhell accepts.
Meanwhile, in the Black Fortress, the Beast tries to tempt Lyssa with beautiful robes and a crown.
Lyssa stares dumbfounded at the cape and crown. Still she resists the Beast's advances.
The Slayers have failed to stop Colwyn so far, but the Beast is undaunted as he tries to drown our heroes in quicksand.
As Colwyn and the others are distracted, a second Emerald Seer approaches...what is going on?
With the real Seer killed, the new one takes its place unknown to the others.
Rhell has stayed back to protect their rear while the others go on the Temple. To his horror, the dead Seer's body rises from the quicksand. He must hurry to save the others.
Titch, the Emerald Seer's apprentice lets everybody know they're within seeing distance of the three trees that grow as one.
