Colwyn awakens to find his bride gone and an old man tending his wounds.
The old man gives to Colwyn the royal necklace taken from the dead body of King Turold. Colwyn is the new king on this day, but what of his kingdom?
"I am Ynyr!" The Old One...he has come down from the Granite Mountains, for it is now time to end the tyranny of the Beast.
Somewhere in these mountains lies the Glaive. Believed to be just a symbol, it is in fact a powerful weapon. Colwyn must find the Glaive if he hopes to defeat the Beast and save Lyssa. "Don't worry...if it's there I'll come back with it." "If you do not come back with it...you'll not come back at all."
A rockslide tests Colwyn's agility as he makes his way up the mountain to find the Glaive.
The climb to the top is a long one. Colwyn slowly makes the ascent up the steep slope.
The entrance to the cavern is not very large, but that won't stop Colwyn from achieving his goal.
All that's here is a pool of molten rock...where's the Glaive?
A star-shaped object drifts in the lava...could this be the Glaive?
Colwyn reaches into the lava pit. Despite his arm bursting into flame, he feels no pain. Could he be the chosen one?
