Hello. This is only my opinion about Tomo. If you mind, well, then don't read it. Sorry for my bad English. Well, I like Tomo. I like Xelloss too, and Alberich from Saint Seiya, and other some bad boys. I always like the Man of the Dark
Side, I don't know why, but I don't care. I know why I like Tomo, though.

He is in my opinion the strangest character in Fushigi Yuugi. The reason is that he only appears in a few chapters and thus, his personality isn't able to develop because he simply appears and then dies. I don't know why Tomo is so hated. He isn't exactly the best boy around, but I can't understand why Nakago, being the more powerful and manipulative of the two, has lots of fans, whilst Tomo has a lot of enemies.

I'd like to know why Tomo suffers this cruel fate. Nakago, being a manipulator and a leader who cheers when all of his fellow seishi die, has the privilege of salvation. When he dies, Soi and his Mother are waiting for him. Nobody is waiting for Tomo, or at least, nobody we know. When Tenkou summoned him, he takes his second chance to return. Why? Why does he return? For love, probably. A second chance? But he dies again. Nakago doesn't need to return, 'cause even though he's dead, he's still happy being with the people that loved him.

I feel that nobody loved Tomo. Nobody in the series, that is. I want to know why Watase-sensei didn't give him any chances. Ashitare and Miboshi hadn't any chances too, but they weren't human. However, Tomo is human. At least, he loves Nakago, and to know this -- to me -- is heartbreaking. I think that Tomo is the most maltreated character in FY for this reason. I wish that Tomo would break free from his love for Nakago. Love dies too, and Nakago doesn't deserve this love.

I have a fic where the four gods are in danger and all seishi must work together, and Tomo falls in love with somebody better than Nakago. Somebody good and sweet, like Nuriko. But I haven't written for a few months and I feel that I
can't write 'cause I can't make my ideas more interesting...

Well, see you later.
Captain Kalima.
