The summer of 2001
We have been working on this project for the last 18 months.
We have got to the last major project. Refinishing the hardwood floors. It turned
out to be easier then we expected. Renting two sanding machines, a large belt sander
and a smaller disk sander for the hard to reach places. Starting with a 24 grit paper and
moving to 36,then 60, then 80 grit, we made quick progress. It took about 6 hours
to finish the room. After that we sealed the floor with a water based polyurethane.
