Kathryn, I am thinking of building a spinning wheel. I have went through some of the "spinning" web pages. I just cannot make up my mind which spinning wheel to build. There are many sites that have plans for spinning wheels. Please give me some comments s to building spinning wheels. I like the spindles spinners and will make a few later. Thank you for time in answering my question... Mark

Your brief history of spinning - taking us back to the very basics of how our prehistoric ancestors began making garments - is excellent. The same prehistoric people who we know so little about, yet to whom we owe so much. I found this very satisfying to my curiousity. Well done! Your website has a nice homespun, welcoming and uncomplicated back to basics feel to it. Once again, well done!

I enjoy your site and am about to dust off my spinning wheel and drop spindals. I've had the opportunity to study old textiles from site in Arizona. Keep on spinning.
