Ignition Wires

There really isn't much you can do with the ignition system on the 3.0L because the stock unit is sufficient for what most people need.  That doesn't mean that its the end of the road for us because there are aftermarket ignition systems that we can use that make a slight difference. 

I first upgraded the wires to a larger set from Accel which was 8mm.  Its a custom spiral core set and cost $40.  I had to cut the wires to my liking and made them as short as possible.  The shorter the ignition distance, the less resistance and shorter time it takes to travel.  Magnecore and Mopar also makes some pretty good sets for our engine.
