Tires

There are LOTS of choices for tires that I can recommend for a FWD 3.0L.  If anyone hasn't noticed the 3.0L is very, very torquey in the low end and will very easily spin the tires up upon take-off so some good gripping tires will be needed.  Depending on what size wheels you have or car the stock sizes are 205/60R15 or 205/55R16.  I recommend getting slightly wider tires with lower profile for better handling.  Goodyear tires in my opinion wear out too fast but grip good.  Nitto makes some pretty good tires for a decent price.  I bought Firestone tires and like them a lot.  They are Firehawk GTA's 215/60R15.  They are a little wider than stock but won't through off your speedo.  A really good tire/wheel for the FWD 3.0L would be 225/50ZR15 Nitto 500.

Now if you want to take your car to the track then go and get yourself some slicks and you will drop your E.T.s by a half a second with the automatic.
