Intake Spacers

Another good intake upgrade would be to install a pair of Phenolic intake spacers.  The purpose of them is to create two 'milder' bends in the intake runners rather than the 'hard' stock bend. This creates better airflow into the engine and - in essence - creates smoother runner lengths that produce a few more foot-pounds of torque. They were developed by a fellow member of the Chrysler 3.0L email list ([email protected]). These spacers are made by fabric impregnated with hard plastic.

I have noticed a slight difference in top end power with these spacers and a cooler intake plenum.  They also make your intake louder so this might not be for everyone.
