Catalytic Converter
OK... I do not recommend this because it is very illegal. You can't go to Midas and say, "Hey, can you pull out my pollution controlling unit and rip out all the filtration and put it back in my car?" NO!!! I did this mod myself because I work in a garage and took the time to do it. You will loose some low end but gain at least 8hp in the high end and have a lot better acceleration. Your exhaust will also be a lot louder.

two Catco cat. converters
What I am going to do come summer is buy a high-flow cat. converter and install it along with a complete exhaust system. The high-flow cats flow a lot more than the stock units and aren't illegal. I am going to install a 2.5" mandrel-bent system with a Catco high flow cat and a Flowmaster 2-chamber muffler. Flowmasters are pretty restrictive so I won't be running a straight-through system which will rob some power. Path-mufflers (i.e. flowmasters, turbo mufflers, super traps) don't flow as well as straight-through designs but are just as loud.
