Cold Air Induction
Installing a K&N cone filter directly on the TB is good for about 8hp. Don't use the replacement filter because there aren't any known improvements over stock (unless of course you have a paper filter that's dirty as hell).
Basically you remove the entire stock airbox setup and tuner tube which leads into the computer and install a breather for the rear valve cover.

angled upwards.
Now what I also did was install a hood scoop for my K&N filter. I got the scoop from a junkyard off of an 88 Nissan 300ZX for $5. Then I painted and wetsanded it and it looked like new. I cut the hood with a grinder and turned the filter upwards so that the incoming air hits the filter directly. This upgrade made a HUGE difference, especially in the highway when the incoming air is fastest.
