DOB: January 13, 2001
Raichu spent two years in California running in the NOFCA event (Open Field). She has almost all her points and all of her placements for her CM title even though she missed most of the running season both years due to being in season in the Dec-Jan time frame, which is the time most of the trials are held for Borzoi. Because she ran the Open field before running the lure Raichu is not the keenest on the lure. She runs it OK but would much rather be running live game. I had hoped to take her back to California in January 2006, but family matters prevented that from happening.
In the fall of 2006 Raichu returned to the show ring and under the expert handling of Dora McDonald earned her first major. During 2007 Raichu picked up several other points in the show ring, then the first weekend in August 2007 with Russella Bowen-Wilkerson showing her, she picked up 5 points and a major in 2 shows to finish her AKC conformation title.
On May 12, 2007 Raichu finished her ASFA Veteran FCh title and then on August 26, 2007 she earned her first major in AKC lure coursing bringing her points to 8 with a major. Then the weekend of December 15-16, 2007 Raichu earned two more majors and finished her AKC FCh title and became an AKC Dual Champion.
