Amberle is a daughter of my beloved Aurium and on the coursing field is following in her mother's footprints.  She was the #1 AKC lure coursing Borzoi in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, and #2 AKC lure coursing borzoi in 2005.  She was also the  NUMBER ONE ALL BREED AKC lure coursing hound (based on total dogs defeated) for 2002.  She is now also the #1 LIFETIME AKC lure coursing borzoi both in total dogs defeated via only BOB wins and total dogs defeated via BOB/BIF wins. We are very proud of all of her accomplishments in the field.   She is a littermate to DC Wind 'N Satin Au Druid Brona of Ryhka  LCM 3, SC who is also doing well on the lure coursing field.

On December 30, 2005 Amberle earned her LCX 5 title becoming the third sighthound to earn this title. On August 26, 2007 Amberle earned her LCX 6 title becoming the second sighthound to earn this title.

Amberle was bred to Monti (FC Aragorn's Barron GL Fremont FCh, SORC3, SC).

Two beautiful puppies survived out of 7, having to be born via an emergency C-section 7-8 days early: born January 5, 2007. Amberle had no milk so the 2 puppies were raised by a foster mother (Shar Pei).

Amberle will be bred again the fall of 2008.  Sire to be chosen.                                                                          Reservations are being taken for this new litter.

At the beginning of January 2004 I flew Amberle to California to conpete in NOFCA (open field). Her response to seeing a jack rabbit being run was unbelieveable. She was beside herself with enthusiasm. When she finally had her chance to run the jack, Amberle instinctively knew how to do it (just like her mother Aurium did).  She was given lots of complements by the other borzoi owners on how well she did for her first time running a jack at 5 years of age. On Saturday she earned a fifth place (against very experienced borzoi) in a full stake of 10. On Sunday in a stake of 17 she did not place in the top five but ended up 9th overall. As far as Amberle is concerned she has found her
TRUE purpose in life.  I returned to California with Amberle in January 2005 and she once again did well in the open field, earning points towards her CM (breed) title against very tough younger competiton.
