| Crash Bash was developed by Eurocom. Though this game is no CTR, Eurocom get props for trying something new. This game is fun to play multiplayer, but other than that, it will get repetitive, not to mention difficult. There are 8 characters you can play as: Crash, who runs fast enough but has the strength of a nail; Coco, who seems overly large, and has the same stats as Crash; Dingodile, who, for some unknown reason, just like Tiny, joins Crash's side; Tiny, who is very strong, but somewhat slow; Dr. Neo Cortex; who is fast and loaded with a laser gun; Dr. Nitrus Brio, who returns, but evil; Koala Kong, who is happily back; and last, Rilla Roo. I don't know who the hell he is either. The gameplay is divided into different types of levels, such as Ballistix, which is a kind of four-way hockey, Crate Crush, where you run around throwing crates in hopes of killing your opponents (my personal favorite), and more. There are five warp rooms, each with more and more levels. Also, like any decent game, there are bosses, and they're surprisingly satisfying to beat and watch in action. The bosses are Papu Papu, who, once again, takes 30 seconds to beat, the Bearminator, a large polar bear in a turret, Komodo Joe and Komodo Moe, in a huge machine, and Nitros Oxide. This game is best when played with a group of friends, but sadly, the presentation and polish of Crash Bash could have been so much better, and that is why is does not get a higher grade. Crash Bash: 3/5 Pros: +You get to play as many characters, including some old ones that have not been seen in a while +The bosses are very well designed and are rewarding to beat +The graphics are very nice +You get to taunt your opponents! +The levels can be pretty cool Cons: -The levels get very repetitive, very fast -Some characters *cough*Rilla Roo*cough* just don't have the right priorities -The game takes long to beat, and goes up to 200%, and you don't even get a bonus! |
