Crash Bandicoot (1996)
With the new release of the Playstation in 1995, people expected a nice, new series of games.  Luckily, Crash Bandicoot dropped onto the Playstation, making so many people happy, including myself.  The gamers demanded nice graphics.  Good levels.  Great gameplay.  Good games.  The gamers got it from Naughty Dog.  Crash Bandicoot features good graphics, good gameplay, and is a good game altogether.  In this game, you play Crash Bandicoot, a rejected experiment of the crazy Dr. Cortex, a small, weak, clever scientist with an "N" on his head, standing for Nerd.    He is trying to create an army of mutant animals to attack for him, since his weak little body couldn't hurt a fly.  In this game, you have to make your way through from N. Sanity Island to the last Island (#3), Cortex Island.  There are many levels, including waterfalls, foggy loose bridges, jungles, caves, and a castle, with a lab.  There are also many bosses you have to defeat, ranging from a fat native to a crazy potoroo with a gun, until the final showdown with Cortex.  The object of this game is to guide Crash through the many levels, help him defeat the bosses, and save his girlfriend, who is being held captive by Cortex, Tawna.  Crash doesn't want to save the world, he doesn't want to become famous.  He wants to live with Tawna until he grows old.  This game's controls are a bit loose, but it's a first game, so what do you expect.  The graphics are very good for it's time.  This game is great.  To complete the game, you need to collect all the gems (and colored ones) and the 2 keys.  To get a gem, you must make it through the entire leve; without dying and collection all the crates.  The keys are found in secret areas.  This game is very fun, and is worth buying to have fun.
