A group of ryetag is called a 'pack' and usually consists of a well mixed group of male and female members. One male is carefully chosen as the designated leader, but beyond that there is not much for a ranking system amongst the members.
The term pack is also applied to any group of ryetag. This means that even if you do not have a free roaming group of ryetag, you can still register them as a pack. They can be kept seperate for event purposes and can be owned by different owners. In this case there is not really a designated leader. In team events, the packs are considered a team and will be expected to work together.
There is no set number of members for a pack, and packs may have special privilages when it comes to breeding/sales/events. Upon assembling a pack, all members MUST be on pages, and there must be at least ONE adult to be registered. We can't have a pack run by puppies here! Upon successful registration, your pack will be added to the registered pack page and you will recieve a special certificate to be posted with the pack. If there is more than one owner, they need to post the certificate with their ryetag as well. You will also recieve a special item ^.^
