| BOUQUET OF SMILES Flowering plants, birds and bees Seem to set my heart at ease; Perhaps the garden where they grow Helps that feeling-I dont know. The sight and scent of fragrant bloom When brought indoors perfumes a room; They always add a pleasant touch On table, sill or nearby hutch. Their colors spark the dullest day And help to chase the blues away; A sense of calmness dwells within While I take their beauty in. Yes, its work to tend them well But worth the time-I can tell; For flowering plants or bud-filled vase Can put a smile upon this face. Author: Betty Lavigne |
