George Thorogood's Bad Influence

You might say he's bad to the bone. Or you might not. In any case, there's only one George Thorogood! And this is the George Thorogood that the Hipsters fell in love with many moons ago. The exact date is unknown, but approximately five years ago Hipsters around the globe were turned on to Thorogood's rendition of John Lee Hooker's "One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer". Perhaps the general theme of the song intrigued the Hipsters -- probably. But as well, the driving rhythm that his Destroyers displayed made this a fav of many Hipster parties. On numerous occasions, this song has been requested by a Hipster to be played on radio, and Hipster Barf even had the rare opportunity to speak with George himself when on Rockline (the radio show).

With songs like "One Bourbon...", "I Drink Alone", and "If You Don't Start Drinkin' (I'm Gonna Leave)", it is not hard to understand why the Hipsters have chosen George Thorogood to be the feature musician for August (and a perennial favourite)!

So what if he isn't the best guitarist in the world.
So what if he plays a little too much slide.
So what if he's washed up and charges too much for concert tickets --

YOU GOTTA LOVE THIS GUY!
