Race and Class Information
Human- We are humans.  Not hard to explain what we look like.  Humans may learn any trade or skills.  We have limited natural ability to use magical items and have to learn how to before using them.  For example; you may by a magic wand but unless you have magic skills and abilites you won't be able to use it.  Though magically enhanced armor will help you in battle.  The Nordic race of humans usually live in Glendoth.  They have enhanced strength and are taller than the other human races.  They make excellant warriors.

Elves and Drows (Dark Elves.  This doesn't mean they are evil necessarily.  They prefer to live underground)- Elves are tall, slender, most of a bluish tint to their skin and hair.  They have natural abilities: they see well in darkness and at distances, they can camoflague themselves within a natural setting, they move quickly and are intelligent.  They make excellant mages, clerics, rangers, warriors.

Drow are tall, slender, most have a gray tint to their skin and hair.  They see very well in the dark and move quickly.  They have the natural ability to 'hide' and are very intelligent.  They make excellant warriors, thieves, dark lords and dark lordesses.  They are great at metal working and usually can be found working the trades of blacksmith/weaponry/armory. Halflings- Half elf/drow and half human.  Smaller than both races.  Haflings are very fast, they hide well.  They have limited visual enhancements (meaning they see better in the dark than non-elven races).  Because of their small build they are not as strong as the other races but their speed and agility make up for that.  They make excellant mages, theives, clerics and rangers.  Haflings have a natural affinity towards animals and can charm them in most cases.

Hill Giants- Hill Giants are a very private race.  Prefering to stay to the mountains and hills than to wander the continent.  They are very proud and naturally good beings.  They have enhanced strength, they are usually not taller than nine foot tall.  They blend in well with nature and have a natural affinity towards animals.  They have limited magic learning potential.  They work well with wood and stone.  They make excellant warriors and rangers.
Due to their size and strength Hill Giants are a limited race in Rydion.

Vampire- Vampires are actually a vampire hybrid race that live in Mystique.  Meaning they are not completely vampires like Drac and Lestat.  They have enhanced speed and strength.  They see very well in the dark.  They can float but not fly.  They can survive sunlight due to their hybrid state.  But in sunlight their abilities and strengths are limited to that of human strength.  They have great magic learning potential as they are highly intelligent.  They make excellant mages and thieves/assassins.  They are not aloud to be clerics.  Because of their enhanced skills they are not aloud to be Dark Lords/Lordess.  They are allowed to shapeshift.

Classes
Mage- Magic users.  Mages must train at a Mages Guild or Temple.  Mages must learn their skills.  These skills do not come natural.  They are able to use all magical items unless stated otherwise in the description of the item.  Mages cannot be warriors as well.  They are allowed to train using a bow and arrow and can use daggers.

Thief/assassin- Must train at a Thieves Guild or in Mystique at a temple.  They have limited magic abilities.  And have to train to use magical items.  Check item descriptions to see if it is usable.  Thieves cannot be have holy or clerical abilites as well.  Thieves can use most weapons.  They are excellant potion makers.

Warrior/Amazon- A warrior is proficient in fighting.  They train in Glendoth.  They have the ability to learn to become a weapon master.  Only a warrior/amazon can gain enhanced strength abilities (other than Nordic race or Hill Giants).  A warrior can work most trades.  A warrior can use limited magic items.  Check descriptions of the items. 

Cleric- Clerics are healers amoung other things.  They learn their skills in the sacred lands of Rydion.  A cleric may also fight as a warrior and can use most weapons but prefer the staff or sword. Clerics are very humble and live close to nature.  They are excellant potion makers.

Rangers- Rangers have fighting skills and excellant affinity with nature.  They are great trackers and hunters.  They are able to use most weapons.  They perfer to live in or close to nature.  They have limited magic abilities and limited healing abilities.

Dark Lord/Dark Lordess- This is a special class all of its own.  You must get permission before using this and must train as one before becoming one.  A dark lord/lordess is part warrior/part thief.  They have limited magic abilities but more than other races besides mages and clerics.  They must find then travel to the hidden realm of Mystique to train.  Mikal De Mystique is the leader of the Dark Lords.  Those wishing to become one will train at his temple.

Guardian- This class is only open to those from Adonia.  Only characters with good alignment or one that has a blood link to the Adonian royal blood line can be a Guardian.  The class is part warrior and cleric with limited psionics. To become a Guardian one must train in Adonia at the Temple of the Gods.  Guardian is a sub-class of Holy Guardian.  A Holy Guardian character should be preapproved.  Only because this is a high power character and with the comes responsibility.  A Holy Guardian usually oversees and/or is in charge of a temple of the Gods or teaches at a mages/cleric's/guardians/or psions school.  Guardian is equivalant to Mystique's Dark Lord.

Psionics- This is a special and limited class.  Only those pure of heart may be a psionisist because of the powerful nature of the class.  A psionisist must train in Adonia at the Temple of the Gods.  Psionisists are natural born but must train to enhance their skills.  Such as seer/mystic/prophet.  Where as a mage must learn their magic skills and use words and spells to weave their magicks...a psionisist uses their natural ability and mental powers to do so.  Since this is such a powerful race it will be limited to special characters and roleplays. 

Knight of the Realm (Teran Beck)- There is only one Knight of the Realm.  Teran is in general a warrior/assassin.  She has the ability to tap into a number of skills/spells from other classes/races if needed.  This 'gift' was given to her by the God Demura when she arrived in Rydion and accepted her postion as Knight of the Realm.  Since she used to be an assassin for hire though she is unable to use psionics.
