When the divine power was one dragons roamed through the Mystic Mountains and parts of Glendoth and Adonia. Powerful creatures of high intelligence. They were favored by the One True God.
After dividing the realms the God knew that his beloved dragons would be hunted for their power and killed. Therefore he changed them into human form. Now it is said dragons may change into whatever form they wish. They are very magical creatures. But in rydion we now have dragon hybrids. The One True God brought all of the dragon hybrids to Rydion and Adonia.
Dragon Hybrids:
Male or female in human form. Ability to see even in the darkest places. Can soar/not fly like a psion. When they use their skills and abilities their shadow will appear to be a dragon. They have the ability to form a natural protective dragon scale like flesh over their own which will mesh with their flesh leaving the need for armor unnecessary. They can jump/leap at great heights often to the top of a ten story building with ease. They are able to easily carry a normal sized man/woman while soaring. Their sense of smell, hearing, scent are all above average. Additional skills/abilities depend on the type of dragon. All hybrids are able to use telepathy to communicate.
Dragon Hybrids are a race and class. You may choose a class title for them ie: Gold hybrids can call themselves Clerics. For a list of spells/skills of each dragon hybrid check page two.
Types of Dragon Hybrids:
Black: These hybrids are able to breath acid. They have the ability to turn into a shadow creature at will. They will still retain their own form but will appear as a shadow. They also are able to use that shadow form to change into a full sized dragon (Which will be in the shadow form still). While in this form they are able to fly but not use their acid breath. In order to do this they must first have a special amulet. Information about this amulet will be given as time goes on. Black Dragon Hybrids were ususally what was left over from the dragon kin in Mystique.
White: These hybrids are able to breath water and ice. They have the ability to turn their protective scale/flesh into ice shards. They are able to create snow storms. The hybrid is usually very pale in features and it is common for them to have enchanting blue eyes. These eyes are able to charm/enchant a person if the person stares at them too long. The person must be suseptible to mind magic for this to happen.
Red: These hybrids are able to breath fire/fire balls. They are able to make their protective scales/flesh molten hot. They have the ability to walk through any fire surface without being scorched. Their natural enemy is the hell hound. These dragon hybrids are often good for finding treasure as they have a natural ability to smell/sense gold.
Green: These hybrids are able to manipulate nature. Meaning they can move or create boulders with their mind. They can cause earth quakes. They naturally can camoflague themselves with their flesh/scales. They are not the most kind dragons. They tend to work mostly for Elves and dislike humans strongly.
Gold: These hybrids live in Adonia but are able to travel the three realms freely. They are hybrid cleric/mages. Almost like a guardian but they lack the psion skills. They are able to teleport with ease. They are able to control and breath both wind and call lightning. Their eyes are often the color of their scales. Their scales/flesh have healing powers.
