Where to Get Bobby's Music?
Bobby fans, the unfortunate fact is that Cameo records, for whom Bobby recorded years ago, is now defunct. ABKCO Music holds the rights to the original masters of Bobby's recordings as well as those of other Cameo/Parkway artists, but refuses to release them for digital remastering. Althugh it makes little sense for ABKCO to behave in this manner, especially since the firm's position has never been explained, that is the reason no one can currently offer you best-quality copies of Bobby's old records. However, you can tell ABKCO how you feel and urge them to release the masters electronically or by mail.
