Bobby Rydell:
The Man Who Has Everything:
Girls, Glamour, Grease-Paint and Glory
TV and Movie Screen
- Bobby Rydell is a busy, busy man and he loves it! Not only is he one of the most popular
recording stars in the business, but he now is a movie star as well, having Columbia's Bye,
Bye Birdie to his credit. Bobby's debut at New York's Copacabana was hailed by
fans and critics alike. His appearance at the Sahara Hotel in Las Vegas was equally well
received. It's an exciting and glamourous life full of surprises and rewards for this
talented lad. When not filling recording dates, appearing on the nightclub circuit or
making movies Bobby likes to have fun. What does he consider fun? Well, there's bowling,
parties, television, dining on his mom's fabulous Italian cooking and last but certainly
not least girls! Bobby is a real champ when it comes to bowling. He is just
starting to teach his mother the fine points of the game. Bobby thinks she may give him
some competition one day. Although Mrs. R. enjoys the game, she would rather stay home and
prepare delicious, fattening Italian dishes for her son. Bobby loves his mom's cooking but
no matter how much he eats he doesn't seem to be able to gain much weight. Oh, well, there
are worse problems! Bobby, like most other young men, enjoys going to parties and dating
pretty girls. It seems that this lucky guy has the whole world on a string -- and has what
it takes to hold it there!
