He also has some we are excited to be trying in the herd for the first time, H Homestead, Kismet and Dayspring. We'll have our first kids from him in spring of 2006. We would like to thank Jennifer Wilkie for letting us to buy Freeway from her and then transporting him to Marita for us too. We also thank Marita Wittkopp for keeping Freeway for us until we could transport him the rest of the way here. We were VERY please with the first set of kids out of Freeway (a set of Quads!) and kept one for our herd. He is putting a very nice topline on his kids, along with a lot of other wonderful things. Freeway was shown for the first time as a yearling at the Mega Bucks show. he placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd in a class of 6 bucks. There were very nice bucks in his class from herds like Royal Blue, Shammy's and reston Ridge. I'm very pleased with how Freeway placed! Unfortunately we had Freeway tested for G6S and he is a carrier. We will not have any more offspring from him. |
