Initial D is in stores! The japanimation drifting series was dubbed (finally) in English. This unbelievable animation series is about a boy named Tac who's father, unknowingly made him the best street racer (drifter as I would call it) on Mt. Akina. As soon as you see the 2nd and 3rd generation RX7's, PS13, and the legendary Trueno AE86 you know your money was well spent. You can pick it up at any local best buy or sun coast in the mall. Should be going for 15-20$.

I hope you like what you've seen so far, Because it will only get better. If you want to get into drifting and learn allot I suggest watching the pros at work. You can buy videos at v-opt-usa.com. They have coverage from all their professional Japanese drifting events all so known as D1. Don't worry about which one to choose from there all good. I suggest buying vhs unless you have a code breaker for your playstation 2 to play the out of region DVD's. I know they just came out with an all region DVD, Last time I checked they were all sold out. I guarantee you will not be able to stop watching these videos.

The next drift event on the northern east coast is being held at Englishtown New Jersey on Oct 29th. It is being put on by the DGTA crew, who always put on an awesome event. I think its 12$ for spectators and I forget how much to drive. Check them out on the web dgtrials.com. If you come to drive or be a spectator your guaranteed to see some nice cars roasting their tires to the rim.
