“Of course,” I said, “armadillos have been known to carry leprosy.”
The two counselors stiffened and recoiled a bit, but the Bluebonnets remained in their attentive circle around Dilly.
“What’s leprosy?” asked Jessica?
“Disease where you nose falls off,” I said.
