Birth
Madonna Louis Veronica Ciccone was born on August 16, 1958 at Bay City Mercy Hospital at 7:05 A.m. She's the daughter of Tony Silvio & the late Madonna Louis (Fortin) Ciccone. She is one of 6 Children. She grew up Most of her life in Rhochester Hills, Michigan.
Dancing
Madonna's first ambitions were acting and dancing. She taught herself how to dance. At age 13 Madonna took dance lessons from Christopher Flynn. He tryed to encouraging her to pursue ot as a career. He took her to gay discos in the early seventies, Where she first witnessed the sheer ecstasy of jumping and writhing and moving around in front of other people.
She attinded the University of Michigan with a dream of becoming a professional dancer. Then She dropped out of U.M. to head off to New York to star her Career.
Getting Started
Madonna acted at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater which was when A Certain Sacrifice was taped. Then she realized that dancing would not be her best at achieving success as a performer. Madonna joined a band called the Breakfast Club from 1979-1980 in which her boyfriend at the time was in, she played the drums and figeted with a guitar, but eventually sang lead. Madonna split from the group and brouth in 1980 to form her own band called EMMY along with Steve Bray. Madonna went around with a demo tape to find someone who would like it so she could possibly get a record deal. She found some D.J. who liked her and soon after hat Everybody was her first hit single.
Recording Madonna (The First Album)
Madonna and D.J. John (Jellybean) Benitez produced her first album Madonna. He wrote the song holiday which was a hit song. He was her boyfriend and dated for quite awile. Madonna came out in 1983 a year later Like A Virgin came out. Madonna was relased the year I was Born Which I think is cool. Madonna sead quites with Jellybean in 1985. She has carried 3 of his babies thats what I'v herd and Aborted all of them. One abortion was just Days before the Virgin Tour Live was Taped. I think it was best. I don't think Madonna would have done all the things if she had a baby in her like back when she started.
Married Life
Madonna met Sean Penn in 1985 while the making of the Material Girl video. Later that year they where married on Madonna's birthday August 16. Sean had a temper problem and also has a drug addition. Madonna and Sean were divorsed in 1988. He was charged with assault. Madonna hasn't been married sense which is a smarth thing to do.
Proveing Points
Madonna has proven that women can be sexy and artistic at the same time. She has been called a slut many times, but I guess it's not easy to prove a point.to the world. If it wern't for Madonna I can't imaging what this world would be like. She is a saint!
