Adrien Arpel
This is my favorite line of all of them. This is named after a Woman who use to sale this line on The Home Shopping Network, The picture Above is Adrienne. She works for HSN and has developed a line for Home Shopping called Signature club A which is my other my other favorite. These 2 lines are alot alike in many ways. Adrien is such a special person. If it wern't for her I wouldn't know the stuff about skincare I know today. She also has inspired me to become a Makeup Artist just like her. When I started this site I wanted it to be about Madonna and Adrien Arpel because they are my 2 Idols. Adrien If you ever read this I want you to know how much u mean to me. And please email me sometime :). She's almost 60 and she still looks young and Beautiful. Adrien started out saleing this line on QVC when I first started watching her then switched over to HSN and sold it there for 2 years then created the Signature Club A line. If you live in New York I am sure you have herd of the Adrien Arpel Spa at Bloomingdales, maybe you have even seen her there. I would Love to work there someday.
Cleansers
:) Adult Oily Sea foam gel cleanser ($19 for 4oz.) this is my favorite cleanser ever made. It isn't just for oily skin nor is it just for adults. This product is for normal or oily skin, it's so gentle even kid's can use it.
:) Aromafleur Petal Cleanser ($21 for 4.5oz.) this is for normal to oily skin. It has many plant extracts in it. It contains rose petals also.
:( Foam Cleanser ($20 for 8oz.) is plant oil based cleanser that won't completly take off all the makeup, and will leave a film on the skin.
:| Sea Kelp Cleanser ($20 for 4oz.) This cleanser is greasy and a scrub. Theres a very little amount of kelp in it, and may leave resadue on skin.
:| Coconut Meltdown ($20 for 4oz.) a cold cream with mostly water and plant oils.
It's a one minute makeup meltdown. It would be good nighttime cleanser to use in a hurry, but not everynight.
:( Honey & Almond Scrub ($32 for 5oz.) has almonds that will help slough skin. The lemon in this can be a significant skin irratant. Serious skin Care's Buff Polish is the best exfoleator I have found.
Tonors
:( Lemon Lime Freshener ($18.50 for 8oz.) has been advertised and published in magazines as a good freshener. it is alcohol free but it does deliver several other potential skin irratants, including blam mint, lemon peel, and lime extracts. Outch!
:| Flower Extract Freshener ($18.50 for 8oz.) is nothing more than witch hazel and plant extracts, several of which, such as lemon flower,lemon grass, and deranium flower, all can irratate skin.
:) Adult Oily Skin Detoxifying Spray ($18.50 for 8oz.) has some plant extracts, water binding agents, and detergent cleansing agents. It won't detox anything, but it is a good tonor for normal to dry skin.
It shouldn't be used on oily skin or acne like what it was developed for.
Creams
:) Bio Cellular Night Cream with AHA ($35 for 1.5oz.) contains 4% Alfa Hydroxy acids which is a skin exfoleator and an entire arenal of water binding agents. A good moisturizer. It won't impress skin cells.
:) Bio Cellur Anti Serium with Alpha Hydroxy Complex ($52.50 for TEN 0.23oz. Vials)
It's much like the Night Cream with AHA, this serioum doesn't have the right ph. to make it effective. It would be a good light weight moisturizer for someone with dry skin.
:) Moisturizing Blotting Lotion (23.50 for 2oz.) is a greasy mix of mineral oil, lanolin, lard and water binding agents. This is a very rich. thick moisturizer, best for someone with extremely dry skin.
:) Four in One Cream (34.50 for 2oz.) this contains minimal AHA acids but it is a great moisuizer! It is a little over priced. Signature club A naked a 5 Essential Creme which is the Very same cream sense the same lady makes it but you also get an eye cream which the 5 Essentials. It's the BEST moisturizer I'v used.
My skin looks so much healthier and feels like silk.
:) Swiss Formula Day Cream #12 with Collagen ($50 for 1oz.) is a very emollient, rich moisturizer for someone with very dry skin.It says it's non greast but it is somewhat greasy.
:) Swiss Formula Day Creme, with Vit. A Palmitate and Collagen ($27.50 for 0.5oz.)
is similar to the cream above, only with tiny amount of vit. A added. The same review applies.
::| Aromafleur Flower Petal minifacial in a jar ($29.50 for 4.5oz.) is a good moisturizer with several plant extrcts and I use it but it could be a problem for some skin types.
:| Bio Cellular Lip Line Cream with AHA ($22.50 for 0.5oz.) Doesn't have the right ph. of AHA to really benefit that much. This is a good emollient moisturizer for any part of the face.
:) Vial Velvet Moisturizer ($23.50 for 2oz.) contains mostly water, standard water binding agents lanolin, thickeners, mineral oil, more thickeners, Oils, collagen, and preservetives. A good moisturizer for someone with very dry skin.
Others
:| Aromafleur FLower Petal and Botanical Masque ($24 for 4oz.) does have plenty of plants entracts, If you have allergies this mask could be a problem. Other than that, it is OK lightweight mask, with no real benefit for the skin.
:) Freeze dried Protein Lip Peel and Salve ($39.50 for 1oz.peel and 0.25 oz. salve)
is a 2 part system. the peel is a wax you rub on the lips and the salve is just a good lip gloss.It's good for preventing dry lips but none of these will do anything for wrinkles.
:| Sea Mud Mask ($24.50 for 4oz.) is just clay,alcohol, and a film formor. To sum it up, this is alot of money for little to no benefit, but I happen to like it and I do use it.
:| Underglow Line Minimizing Moisturizer ($35 for 1.25oz.) places a sticky layer of film over the face. That can make skin look smoother , but also has a somewhat tacky feel. Other than that, it is a lightweight moisturizer for someone with normal to slightly dry skin. Don't waist the money on it.
:( Vegetable Peel Off ($20 for 2oz.) it does peel oof,but it serves no funtion, it also contains peppermint, which is a potent skin irritant.
:( Wrinkle Peeling Gel ($32.50 for 3.25oz.) contains mostly alcohol and film former. The film former leaves a plastic like layer over the face, when peeled off, does exfoliate a layer of skin, but the irratation from the alcohol and film former is not worth it.
:) Real Silk Hair Products ($?) These products are great! they make your hair feel baby soft and I really mean it. Your hair shines like you wouldn't believe and they smell good too! I think this is the best hair line ever! It even comes with a hair thickener for thin hair people. I have Very thick hair but use the Shampoo
