| A bit of background
Born in Manhattan, NY and raised in South Florida, provides me with an insightful view of trends and a keen eye for design. Improving my talents in school, I earned several awards for wheel-thrown pottery and drawings where I felt
free to express my artistic influences. Introduced to soccer at age 5, I continued to play soccer throughout high school playing in the goalkeeper position. I also enjoyed giving back to the youth of the sport through coaching and clinic demonstrations. While in college, I was given the opportunity to express my creativity with the manager position of a bicycle shop.
Creating the shop's e-commerce site from scratch, I was able to learn first-hand about the growing media, the internet, and its possibilities for small businesses. While at the helm of the shop, I was also able to sharpen my managerial skills including product buying, marketing initiatives, advertisement creation and placement, working with suppliers, supervising and scheduling employees, and customer service.
One of my strongest traits is my dedication to the task at hand. I was up many nights working off the clock to finish the e-commerce site for the bike shop. It was a daunting undertaking for one individual to create such a mammoth web site. In the end, the web site was a success because it met both of its objectives: brand awareness and out-of-town sales transactions.
Of the different positions I've been fortunate to fill, I believe that I have learned a vast amount of the do's and don'ts of management practices. I tune-in to what works for the manager or management team, and what he/she/they struggle(s) with, and why. I've always felt that one can learn a tremendous amount from both personal mistakes, as well as those made by others. I created this site for others to learn more about who I am, and to learn more about myself.
