i finished my kitty dishcloth yesterday! i love illusion knitting! it is soooo fun! i am going to update the pictures on the completed projects page! i am also putting a picture of a henna tattoo i drew on my preggo friends belly!
i am working on an dishcloth using illusion knitting. its supposed to be a little kitty face. i don't know if i am doing it right. i don't see anything in it. i am going to finish it and see if it works. i am about half way done with my shrug. its turning out very nice! i want to make it in a bunch of colors because its such a fast and easy knit. i was going to finish it up tonight, but the other skein of yarn was lost during cleaning :( i worked on my afgan a little bit today and i took some pictures of it on the needles, but it doesnt do it justice. hmmm. i guess i will work on my illusion kitty dishcloth!
i am working on my shrug. i have had like 10 beers tonight. i knitted an extra inch without realizing it so i am 8 instead of 7 inches into my shrug. tommorow i will start the upper arm and work into the back. i think i did pretty good with knitting for how buzzed i am right now. no more knitting no more typing tonight
i am knitting a shrug. i started a the divine patrons 2 skein shrug tonight! its knitting up super quick! i will include a link at a later time, but the pattern is sooo simple. the yarn i picked is really beautifuL! the same yarn i made my sisters wrap with! they have so many pretty colors of this yarn and its such an easy knit i may have to knit several of these! i decided exactly what i am doing for my heart swap! and it includes knitting lace! expanding my horizons some more! i am going to browse craftster for awhile and go to bed!!!
school is kicking my ass this quater i havent knit since jan 9 and i am thinking of dropping a class. i took out the irish hiking wrist warmers again. my yarn is crappy and i am going to buy some cascade 220 for them. i think i am completely over acrylic yarn forever for any purpose. yeah. i completely organized my favorites. i am so proud of myself. i must go do homework...
i took out my irish hiking wrist warmers last night. i messed them up pretty bad and i decided it would be better on size 8 needles anyhow. so i am off to start over on them now!
ryan and i went and saw chronicles of narnia tonight. it was pretty good. we came home and i was uber excited about finishing my first irish hiking wrist warmer, but unfortunately a bunch of people are at our house and the noise makes it impossible for me to knit them error free. i am a little irritated right now because i want to knit and i cant and i am really not having too much fun otherwise. i wish i could enjoy smoking pot again. on a brighter note i started organizing my favorites (BIG TASK) so i can figure out what i want to knit!
i am working on the irish hiking wrist warmers. i started them over tonight on a size smaller needles. its going pretty well. i am horrible at memorizing patterns, but i think i figured out a system! no progress on the afgan. grrrr. if i would work on just IT for a day i could finish it. oh well
i love my cats so much. they really are great. i woke up this morning and went into the living room and they are going crazy! running around at like 30 MPH jumping from chairs to couches to chairs and pouncing on each other. and as i am writing this penny lane jumps up next to me and meows to be petted. awwww. so i started the irish hiking gloves last night. the only size 8 needles i could find were gigantic aluminum ones. it is very hard to knit with them. i think i will do a few more rows on them right now and then work on my afgan and watch a movie. its very early. i slept like shit last night because i have a UTI. blah! i should not be awake right now. i woke up at 8 and i went to sleep at 3:30, and yesterday was a long and tiring day 9 1/2 hours of school. last night ryan taught me how to play a song on the guitar. it was exciting. i am going to keep making him teach me it's pretty fun.

i am at school right now. my art histort\y class ended early due to a faulty microphone. i am very glad i was on the verge of falling asleep. i finally figured out how to work my ipod! yay! i am listening to the beatles revolver right now. it makes walking around campus alone all day alot better. anyhow. i havent knitted at all in like 3 days. its very sad. tonight i have to clean my house because my mom is coming over to help me set up my craft room tommorow. i think i will knit an ipod cozy tonight though. i made like 6 of them for my nano and then i ended up getting a regular one. hmmmm... i am excited about my swap. i cant wait to get the details about my partner so i can start knitting. i think i will make the heart ipod cozy from stitch n bitch though. it would be a good reason to attempt fair isle. maybe a card and journal set... hmmmm. exciting. i think i will start swapping often after this one. well i better go to class.
i signed up for my first craft swap today! i am very excited. it's a heart swap! i need to make 1 big item and 3 small items for my swapping partner! i can't wait to do it. i haven't knitted all day again! i had a bunch of homework to do :( and i had to go to my moms to bring her my ipod and drop off some laundry. hmmmm. maybe i will knit and watch a movie now.
i started school today. i think i will like my new classes. i only have 2 days of class a week, so thats pretty cool. i have very long days though. i cam home and passed out after today. my first class is art history. i think that it will be a very good class. it's huge, it has like 400 people in it. i have never had a class like that before. my second class is discovering UC. it's going to be SUPER easy! people from DAAP are coming in to talk to us. my next class is human sexuallity, also a very large class. my cousins friend (my friend too) ashley has it with me so thats really cool. after that its english comp 102, which i hope goes well. after that its algebra 2. so i am at school from 11:00 am to 8:35 pm. eh. i haven't been knitting much for the past few days. maybe i will try to finish another skein on my afgan tonight. that thing is taking forever! hmmm... i am going to search the web for some cool patterns, i am wiped out!
its new years day. last night was pretty rough. very fun, but i drank too much. i tried to knit and it didn't work out too well. cables and beer don't mix... i haven't really done much today i am trying to recover. ryan and my mom and my cousin and i went to see the phantom of the opera. it was pretty good. i knitted a little while te play was going on. i got about half of an ipod cozy done. yeah. i guess thats all for now...
