The night (or several nights) before the feis, you will want to get your 'feis bag' ready. Below is a list of items that parents have found useful to have handy at a feis:
Band-Aids
black shoe polish (or alternatively, a black permanent marker)
bloomers that match the lining of the dress
bobby pins
camera (but NO video devices are allowed in competitions)
curlers, or a battery operated curling iron
dance shoes - ghillies and hard shoes
Dress/costume
dress smock to cover up dress when eating
extra laces
extra poodle socks
hair net
hair spray
hairbands
hole punch
kleenex /paper towels / baby wipes
lawn chair / blanket - to sit on (it's a long day and usually no seating available)
ribbon / yarn - the color of the dress
safety pins
scrunchies
snack food or brown bag lunch
sock glue
syllabus
Tylenol
Water bottles /beverages.
