The Storm Lake Parade of Flags honors veteran's that from Buena Vista County Iowa. When a veteran from Buena Vista county passes away families of the veteran are eliagble to purchase a flag to be flown during Memorial Day and the July 4th at the Buena Vista County Court House. Each year at during a Memorial Day Ceremony, veteran's who have passed away will be honored during the ceremoy. Purchased flags will have the veteran's Name, Service Branch, Time of Serivce, and Year of Death.
