Ryan was one of fifteen American delegates to the India PeaceTrees Project 1988, the first ever cooperative effort between the Soviet Union and the United States to reforest land in the third world. In June of 1990, he co-founded Youth for Environmental Sanity (YES!) and has been one of YES!�s main fundraisers throughout the years. Ryan recently spent 18 months setting up all of the fundraising systems and raising $650,000 for Challenge Day, a nonprofit which is dear to his heart. He is an accomplished workshop facilitator and public speaker, and is certified in a wide range of body-mind therapies. Ryan has enjoyed successful careers as a massage therapist, headhunter for high-tech startups, and as a nonprofit development consultant. Now he has his heart set on becoming a life coach. He likes to ski, backpack, hike, camp, travel, sun bath, play basketball, didjeridoo, and goof off as much as possible. His favorite flavor of ice cream is Haagen-Daz Coffee.
