away from home for the children in my care. I recognize that each child has different needs depending on their age and their personality. It is my job to make sure that each child feels safe and comfortable here, and that they each have opportunities available to them to pursue their own interests and develop their own skills. To accomplish this, I offer plenty of free play as well as some more structured, planned activities. We play games, sing songs, and read stories. We color, cut, paint, and create. We explore, imagine, and pretend. The children get time outdoors to run and play, and quiet time for rest. I encourage good behavior with praise, attention, and rewards.
While entrusted with your child's care, my home is your home. You are invited to call or visit unannounced at any time. I welcome and encourage your interaction and input.
