Parents must provide their hours of need in writing. This schedule will determine my availability for other children enrolled in my care, as well as my ability to plan for personal and family time, so it must be respected.
Should your hours of need change, we can discuss whether or not my availability at the time will allow me to accomodate you. Any agreed upon changes must also be in writing.
Should an emergency arise that requires you to be late picking up your child, I strongly encourage you to notify me as soon as possible; pre-arranged overtime fees are less costly than no-notice overtime fees.
I offer emergency, night, and weekend care on a case-by-case basis.
Have you considered the possibility of needing to find childcare on short notice? Perhaps your regular provider has an illness in their family, or school is canceled for a snow day. What would you do? I encourage you to consider meeting me before an emergency arises, as I will require certain forms to be completed in order to accept any child into my care.
If you find yourself in need of occasional night or weekend care, having my number could come in handy. Christmas or New Year's Party coming up? I am also willing to consider occasional overnight care. Need to do some Christmas shopping without the kids? Keep in mind that my availability IS LIMITED based on openings, as well as personal and family obligations, so it is a good idea to plan ahead and call early to reserve a slot!
