The Wolverines returned to the ACC/Big Ten Challenge with a win over the Wolfpack.  Leading the way is the new Rose/Weber of Harris and Horton.  Solid game from the Wolverines who show a solid bench.
Michigan - 61
Butler - 60

The Wolverines escape an early season loss by sqeaking out an overtime win in the Conseco Fieldhouse.  Horton hit two clutch free-throws late in the game and late in overtime to seal the win for the maize and blue.

Michigan - 63
Vanderbilt - 83

Michigan suffered it's first loss on the road Saturday night by getting the shit kicked outta them by Vandy.  First off, their court sucks.  Second, we need to learn how NOT to turnover the ball
Michigan - 78
Northwestern - 54

Michigan opened it's Big Ten season with a whooping on Northwestern.  Lester was strong offensively along with B-Rob.  Dion and Daniel also contributed along with some great post play by Courtney Sims and Graham Brown.
Christmas Break Recap

Over the break, the Wolverines enjoyed a great amount of success by narrowly beating Central, routing Deleware State, and handing a loss to the legendary Bruins of UCLA.  Though the Wolverines lost to Boston University by 1 point at Criser Arena, they rebounded by beating Fairfield.  While they are in the shadows of the football team's trip to Pasadena, the hoops team hasn't forgot how to win.
Michigan - 54
Michigan State - 71

This was the most pathetic showing of the year...an all out POOR performance.
Michigan - 57
Indiana - 59

Coupled with poor shooting and horrible permiter defense, the officiating certainly did NOT help.  Mike Davis is a cry baby.  Face it IU...If Davis is going to act like he's a two-year old, there was NO reason to get rid of Bob Knight.  At least he could win more that seven games at the half-way point
