Elephade-Patriarch-Elephade
(Elephade Zambiandë)
Much of the history of Zambiandë is shrouded in mystery, yet there are a few events we know for certain:
In 2012 of the Second Strife, Elephade was born into the herd Allyulia, brother of Elephande. His parents, Memdrian and Jaglid were not present during most of his life, but the presence they had set the seeds for his daring acts on Balecroft.
One day, while sitting by Graupia Creek, Elephade, already given the name Zambiandë, met a lone figure: Istean-Elder-Altoda, the proud general who was corrupted by Atuitá in his youth. Through the workings of Altoda, Zambiandë began his plan almost immediatly. After the death of Matriarch Allyutig and the coronation of his brother as patriarch, he acted, drawing to him some of the strongest soldiers in Frontain, forming a renegade herd and naming it after himself.
Zambiandë's first martial action came at Bleeding Allysulia, where his army was responsible for the slaughter of the elders of Friendship, the herd of his brother. He then gathered an alliance, held together by the unspoken Dérogger Council. He battled his brother's alliance for two years during Dwindler's War, until he caught them off guard. At Chilaquand, he summoned down his mentor. Altoda fought off different members of the Original Five leaders of Frontain, until he was thrown down by Elephande.
Zambiandë, his alliance broken, made a peace with his brother, and agreed to leave the valley of his birth. He boarded the Zealo, "Bringer of faith", and set out. He crash-landed on the uninhabited world of Dilancia years later. Much of his life after this point has been lost, except for one thing.
In 776 of the Third Strife, he followed a Dreg patrol, which led him to Balecroft, where his nephew Afrin was under seige. With his daughter Allysuntis in orbit, he went and became the savior of Indosyne. In his final moment, he sacrificed himself to break the curse of Istean, thereby healing Altoda through death.
His daughter reluctantly took his position, and joined her uncle Elephande in the Indosyne Union.
Zambiandë's final action was to help his brother lead the forgotten monarchs of Frontain to turn the tides at Chilaquand. He then departed for the realm of the High Elder, where he has supposedly remained ever since.
