No we took the prom& and darkside truckations along to the light house featuring tank holding in giggle over the serious nature as we went To do this you must supply a "language translation file" which contains the menu item and toolbutton text you require, and text for the password dialog. You then select that translation file on the Interface tab in the Compiler Options dialog. Note that this does not cause any translation of the design-time environment, only the presentation you create will have the translated interface. The format of the language translation file is fairly simple (much like an "ini" file). Check first at our Web site at www.webcompiler.com to see if a translation file for the language you are interested in already exists. If not, you can create your own. Language Translation Files have a default extension of "wcx". Use copy and paste to copy the following into a file with an extension of .wcx, for example "swedish.wcx", and then go through it replacing the text on the right side of the = signs with the text you require. Note that the & character causes the following character to become the "accelerator" and become underlined when it appears in menus. ---- Copy the text below this ---- [Toolbar] [Searching] [Messages] ---- Copy the text above this ---- Note that in the [Messages] section the %s field will be replaced by the appropriate value (the card number the user entered etc.) at run time. You should leave the %s in the message when you translate it. |
