Family Genealogy Forum telling about these photos, all of which were
taken in Chicago except that of the mother and boy, which was taken in
Hammond, Indiana.
"I am in the possession of 13 old photographs on cardboard, supposedly "out of town" relatives of Daniel Kehler, father of Mercia Kehler Shakes. Daniel was a carpenter and furniture maker in Bourbon, Marshall County, Indiana. Marshall County is adjacent to Kosciusko County, Indiana. Other Kehlers of Marshall County were Will-brother of Mercia; James-with the fancy poetry; and Miriam who married a Fribley in Bourbon." Karen Marks |
