Michael G. Brugh

January 20, 1941 - March 5, 2003

     Services for Michael Gale Brugh, 62, of 5821 Butternut Road, Arpin, Wis., will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Marocco Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Brugh died at 5:32 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2003, at his residence.
     Born Jan. 20, 1941, in Logansport, he was the son of Gale Eugene and Jesse Eileen Byers Brugh. His father survives in Logansport. On Jan. 3, 1960, in Logansport, he was married to Karen Sue Felker, who survives in Arpin, Wis.
     Mr. Brugh was an ironworker for various companies in the Logansport area, retiring in 1999. He was a member of the Ironworkers of Lafayette Local #379.
     A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, Mr. Brugh served from 1959 to 1965, achieving the rank of corporal (E4). He served during the Vietnam War.
     He was a member of the American Legion Post 60 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3790. He was a loving grandfather, father, son, husband, uncle and friend and was truly admired for his skills in everything he accomplished. He was dedicated to his wife and family and was always willing to help anyone who needed it.
     He loved fishing and spending time in the woods. He loved watching sports and the rodeo. He was a wonderful carpenter.
     He graduated from Logansport High School in 1959.
     Also surviving are two daughters, Lori Abel and her husband Paul, Arpin, Wis., and Kelly O'Reilly, Auburndale, Wis.; one son, John Brugh and his wife Wendy, Arpin, Wis.; one brother, James Brugh and his wife Sue, Logansport; two sisters, Carol Kramer and her husband Ralph, Indianapolis, and Connie Williams and her husband Jerry, Logansport; six grandchildren, Chris Abel, Josh Abel, Caleb O'Reilly, Casey O'Reilly, Ashley Brugh, and Brittany Brugh.
     His mother and one daughter, Teresa Ann Brugh, preceded in death.
Pastor Art Maloney will officiate at the services. Burial, with military honors, will be in Bethel Cemetery.
     Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral chapel.
