OBITUARY
The Madisonian, 13 March 1975.
Robert Howard (Monk) Wiley of Rutledge, died March 8. He was 60.
He was the son of the late Robert White and Aracana Wiley and was born April 26, 1914 in Barrow County.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Annette Copelan Wiley; a daughter, Mrs. Martha Frank of Atlanta; three sons, Joe Wiley of stone Mountain, Jimmy Wiley of Mansfield, and Harold Wiley of Doraville; three sisters, Mrs. James Spencer of Columbia, South Carolina, Mrs. Herbert Rowden of Franklin, North Carolina, and Mrs. J. H. Burnam of Galveston, Texas; five brothers, Jerome Wiley of Winder, Burgin Wiley of Tucker, Alton Wiley of Norcross, Boots Wiley of Winder and Irvin Wiley of Galveston, Texas, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday at 2:30 p.m. from the Simmons Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Robert Rutledge officiating. Burial followed in the Rutledge Cemetery.
Simmon Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
