| Julian Alcester "Buddy" Copelan OBITUARIES Newspaper unidentified: JULIAN A. COPELAN Julian A. Copelan, 53, died Sunday at Moncrief Army Hospital. Born in Greensboro, Ga., he was a son of the late William A. and Nettie Baugh Copelan. He was a South Carolina Highway Department employee and a retired Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Alice Adams Copelan; a daughter, Mrs. Kathy Copelan Jeffcoat of Columbia; three sisters, Mrs. Eloise C. Sidwell of Madison, Ga., Mrs. Ivor C. Doggett of Decatur, Ga., and Mrs. Annette C. Wiley of Rutledge, Ga.; and three brothers, Carey Copelan of Mansfield, Ga.; and James and William Copelan of Abbeville. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Mr. George E. Turbeville.
