15 Feb. 1929 APALACHEE NEWS: "A marriage of much interest to the friends of the contracting parties was that of Mr. Alfonsa Sidwell to Miss Eloise Copeland, of Drexel, the marriage having taken place on the afternoon of Sunday, February 3rd, at the Methodist parsonage here, Rev. G. T. Shell performing the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Copelan, and is a splendid young woman, who is welcomed into our community, where she has made quite a number of friends.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Sidwell and is a young man of many splendid traits of character, besides being a very industrious young man.
At present the couple is with the groom's father and mother but expect to go to housekeeping as soon as arrangements can be made.
They have the best wishes of a host of friends for a long and happy life together."
10 May 1940 APALACHEE NEWS: "Mr. and Mrs. Alfonzo Sidwell announce the birth of a daughter. She has been given the name Vivian Jaeneane. Mrs. Sidwell is the former Miss Eloise Copelan, of Greensboro.
