| Ollie Gregory Baugh OBITUARIES The Madisonian, 22 Jan. 1959: Ollie Baugh Dies in Greensboro Ollie Baugh died in Minnie G. Boswell Hospital in Greensboro following a sudden illness here Thursday. Mr. Baugh, 39, a native of Greensboro was employed at Morgan County Motors. He because violently ill and was rushed to the hospital by Mr. and Mrs. Henry Atkinson, owners of the motor company. Mr. Baugh is survived by his wife and six year old son. He was a cousin of Mrs. Atkinson. Greensboro Herald and Journal, 23 Jan 1959 : OLLIE G. BAUGH PASSES AWAY Friends of Mr. Ollie Gregory Baugh were saddened to learn of his death on January 15th at the Boswell Memorial hospital. He had been in ill health for some time. Mr. Baugh was born July 6, 1919, in Greensboro, the son of Mrs. Julia L. Baugh and the late Ollie G. Baugh, Sr. He was a graduate of the Greensboro High School and by profession was a splendid mechanic. Funeral services were held on January 17th at McCommons Chapel. Rev. Jack Nichols, Rev. Owen Duvall and Rev. S. S. Williams officialted. Interment was in the City Cemetery. The pall bearers were Allen Haywood, L. L. Wyatt, Roger Ashley, DeLeon Walker, Claude Bowres, Jack Harper, Lee Whitehead and Claude Dreyer. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bernice Sorrow Baugh, and one son, Ollie Gregory Baugh, III, his mother, Mrs. Julia L. Baugh, sister, Mrs. Edd Ashley, and brother, Carl Baugh. A number of nieces and nephews. Ollie was blessed with a happy smile and sunny disposition which endeared him to his family and a host of friends. He will be greatly missed.
