Mary and her second husband Bill Jago lived in Madison, GA, where they operated a store on the Madison-Greensboro Road. She had beautiful blue eyes and in later years silver gray hair. 1
OBITUARY, THE MADISONIAN, 10 MAY 1979:
JAGO
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 5, for Mrs. Mary Little Jago.
Mrs. Jago died Thursday, May 3, at her home in Madison following a sudden illness. She was 71 years old.
She was born in Morgan County on June 21, 1907, the daughter of the late Carey and Sue Vincent Little. She is survived by a son, Hoyt C. Dooley. Jr. of Madison, one step-son, Bill Jago, Jr. of Lakeland, Florida; and a sister, Mrs. Henry Atkinson of Madison.
Services were held at Simmons Chapel at 11 a.m. on Saturday with Reverend Charles Thomas officiating. Interment was in the Greensboro City Cemetery.
Pall bearers were Harry Healey, Bob Mooney, Preston Slaughter, and Billy Cantrell.
Simmons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
