SERVICES HELD SUNDAY FOR J. F. COPELAN
Funeral services were held Sunday for Mr. J. F. Copelan, who died Friday at the General Hospital in Athen, Ga.
Mr. Copelan, a life-long resident, was 74 years old at the time of his death.
He was born December 5, 1880, the son of Carrie E. Copelan and Mary Colbreath Copelan.
He is survived by two children, Ed and Frank Copelan, of Madison, RFD, five brothers, W. R and Frazier Copelan, of Greshamville, E. G. Copelan, of Forsyth, Ga, and H. L. and L. W. Copelan, Greensboro, Ga, and two sisters, Mrs. R. R. Yearwood and Mrs. J. L. Veal, both of Greshamville. His wife preceded him in death.
Services were held at 4 p.m. at Hemperley's Chapel, the Rev. George Davis officiating.
Burial was in the Madison City Cemetery.
